Who we are

This website is operated by Maybeshewill. When we say “we”, “us” or “our”, we mean Maybeshewill. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, you can contact us using the form on the Contact page.

What data we collect and why

Newsletter sign-ups

If you subscribe to our mailing list, we store your email address. We use this solely to send you infrequent updates about Maybeshewill and related projects – new releases, tour announcements, and similar news. We will never use it for anything else or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

The legal basis for processing this data is your consent. You can withdraw that consent and unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email we send.

Contact form

If you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this only to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to communications directed at us.

Who we share your data with

We use Resend (resend.com) to deliver emails. When we send you a newsletter or a contact form reply, your email address is processed by Resend’s infrastructure. Resend is GDPR compliant and processes data in accordance with their own privacy policy. We do not share your data with any other third parties.

How long we keep your data

  • Newsletter subscribers – we keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your address is removed from our active list.
  • Contact form messages – we retain these for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Ask us to delete your data
  • Withdraw consent for newsletter emails at any time (use the unsubscribe link in any email)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the Contact page.

Cookies

This website uses a small number of functional cookies set by WordPress. These are necessary for the site to work and do not track you across other websites or collect personal information. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
